Anchor Container Services Company acts primarily as a bulk transload facility for animal feed ingredients, i.e, corn gluten, meat and bone meal, feather and poultry meal, etc. One stationary and two portable bulk loaders sit on 3.5 acres which also includes a 150ft. cross dock area for non bulk freight when required. Bulk animal feed ingredients are transloaded from hopper railcars and trucks. Rail service is provided by the Union Pacific Railroad and BN Santa FE via reciprocal switch. Anchor is on the Oakland greenbelt so overweight containers are not a problem. Trucking services are provided by Pacific Coast Transportation. Anchor also has a 70’ in-ground scale to provide truck, axle or certified weights as required.
